About the Role: United Health Services, the largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare services in upstate New York's Southern Tier, is hiring a Staff Registered Nurse, Oncology Unit to join our team at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. The Oncology unit is a 24 bed unit but will be moving to a 30 private bed and private bath unit once the new construction is completed! Our passionate team administers chemotherapy and immunotherapy to an inpatient and outpatient population while being a part of a support system for the patient and their family. We welcome all experienced nurses with or without experience in Oncology. Our department loves to teach, and you will pick up many new skills working with our team. All Oncology nurses are formally trained to give Chemotherapy during their orientation period and have regular access to on-site mentors and educators. We will make sure you are comfortable with your training. During your orientation period, you will work closely with our clinical coaches and have a weekly touch base with your Nurse Manager. Our 1-4/1-6 nurse-to-patient ratio gives you the ability to truly support your patients as they go through a difficult time in their lives and create a comforting environment for them. Requirements

• A valid NY RN license
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
