About The Position

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to manage and staff the Outpatient Infusion Pharmacy. This role focuses on overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting a team of pharmacists and technicians in a busy infusion setting.

Requirements

• Pharmacy technician certification
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Strong experience within IV compounding and chemotherapy
• Active pharmacist license in Virginia

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a busy infusion or hospital pharmacy setting is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the outpatient infusion pharmacy.
• Staff as needed to support patient care and workflow.
• Oversee IV compounding and chemotherapy preparation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient care.
• Utilize Epic for pharmacy information management and Pyxis for automation.
