About The Position

Our Oncology - Hematology Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Clinician at our Saint Luke's South location. The work involves phone triage for the physician for an assigned group of patients, scheduling emergent-need appointments, handling patient follow-up calls, and providing patient education on particular procedures and processes. The Nurse Clinician is a subject matter expert in their respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units and regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments. This role will have face-to-face contact with patients, and patient care time within the clinic typically involves patients with a long-term treatment process.

Requirements

  • 2 years applicable experience
  • Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate from Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation
  • Registered Nurse with various Associate Degree
