As an Oncology Nurse Coordinator in our Nursing Professional Development, Practice, and Research department, you will play a key role in guiding patients and their families through every step of their healthcare journey. Using the nursing process, you will assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans while proactively anticipating patient needs. Serving as the primary clinical contact, you will provide support, education, and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring they feel confident and informed. In this role, you will coordinate multi-disciplinary and multi-site care, facilitate seamless communication among providers, and organize all necessary education and training for the care team. You will also be responsible for promoting an exceptional patient experience by delivering excellent customer service, managing concerns in a timely manner, and ensuring adherence to treatment plans through ongoing contact between visits.
