What you'll be doing: You'll be a trusted point of contact for our surgical oncology patients, guiding them through pre-operative workups, post-operative care, and ongoing surveillance. You'll educate, empower, and advocate for their needs at every turn. Performing comprehensive assessments, evaluating symptoms, and skillfully triaging patient concerns, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Working hand-in-hand with our surgical oncologists, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and other multidisciplinary team members to develop and execute personalized care plans. Providing vital education to patients and families regarding surgical procedures, post-operative care, medication management, symptom management, and what to expect during their cancer journey. Proactively addressing side effects, managing complex symptoms, and offering compassionate support to enhance our patients' quality of life. Assisting with in-clinic procedures, wound care, and ensuring a sterile and safe environment. Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required

Responsibilities

You'll be a trusted point of contact for our surgical oncology patients, guiding them through pre-operative workups, post-operative care, and ongoing surveillance.
You'll educate, empower, and advocate for their needs at every turn.
Performing comprehensive assessments, evaluating symptoms, and skillfully triaging patient concerns, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
Working hand-in-hand with our surgical oncologists, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and other multidisciplinary team members to develop and execute personalized care plans.
Providing vital education to patients and families regarding surgical procedures, post-operative care, medication management, symptom management, and what to expect during their cancer journey.
Proactively addressing side effects, managing complex symptoms, and offering compassionate support to enhance our patients' quality of life.
Assisting with in-clinic procedures, wound care, and ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
