The Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for assisting in HR Operations related to qualification reviews, recruitment and onboarding, employment, and other related HR functions. This role involves handling the onboarding of new hires, transfers, civil service processing, data entry, and review of employment documents. The specialist will partner with the Background Investigation Coordinator to ensure all required background checks are completed and may handle HR tasks in the absence of a supervisor. Responsibilities also include contacting candidates to schedule appointments, extending preliminary offers, and sending onboarding documents. The specialist will act as the point of contact between candidates and hiring departments, ensuring all onboarding documents are complete and that all relevant HR practices and policies are followed. Additionally, the role involves maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the HR system of record for employee data and contributing to the maintenance of reports, including the pipeline.
