The Sales Onboarding Lead at Amazon Business is responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive onboarding programs for customer-facing sales teams. This role focuses on enhancing the skills and knowledge of new hires through engaging training content, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in their roles. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to identify challenges and develop effective training solutions that align with Amazon's sales methodologies and culture.

  • Design and deliver sales onboarding programs for Amazon Business customer-facing teams, including Sales and Professional Services.
  • Develop creative, learner-centered, performance-based training materials in various formats, such as instructor-led and eLearning.
  • Manage operational aspects of the training program, including training calendars, registration processes, and content agendas.
  • Identify challenges within Amazon Business that hinder sales performance and incorporate solutions into training pathways.
  • Collaborate with ECMC team members to create resources that help new hires overcome obstacles in their roles.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including Sales Leadership and Sales Operations, to gather input for training programs.
  • Select and maintain a pool of facilitators for onboarding sessions and manage the Onboarding Buddy Program.
  • Develop and track training KPIs to monitor program performance and make iterative improvements.
  • Support additional Sales Enablement projects as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience facilitating training or delivering Sales Enablement programs, including Sales Methodology and Salesforce training.
  • 3+ years of B2B/C/G direct sales or sales training experience.
  • Current experience with Microsoft Office applications and online training tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for leading engaging learning sessions.
  • Experience in scoping and defining requirements for sales improvement projects.
  • Project management experience with budget and deadline management.
  • Experience with recording or editing in training software tools.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and managing internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel 1-2 times per quarter for training delivery across the US and Costa Rica.
  • Ability to deliver training content in Spanish.
