About The Position

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a member of SATS Group, is a global leader in air freight logistics and ground handling services. The SATS-WFS group employs over 46,000 people and assists more than 270 customers with a global footprint of more than 210 cargo and ground handling stations in 24 countries. WFS has 40 years of experience in aviation-related handling services and provides a vast scope of services while maintaining industry-leading safety and security standards. Responsibilities will include communicating company and position details to new hires prior to their start date. This entails ensuring new hires have completed all pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding paperwork such as Section 1 of I-9 forms, acknowledging company policies and procedures, and more. The recruiting coordinator will also work closely with the Recruiting Specialist and Facilities Administrative team to coordinate fingerprinting and training for new hires and communicate with new hires at each step of the process. Ultimately, you will organize and facilitate our company's hiring and onboarding procedures for new hires.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS/ATS).
  • Basic knowledge of labor legislation.
  • Team spirit and welcoming disposition.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be willing to travel to support Express Station off-site hiring events. Up to 50%.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP Success Factors preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of employees.
  • Associate's degree in human resources management or similar field (preferred but not required).
  • Time management skills.
  • Metric Driven.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary liaison between the station and TSA badging office, assigning and tracking appointments for all applicants and existing employees including explaining badging requirements and assisting with documentation requirements.
  • Assist in TSA mandatory yearly and biannual badging audits and all unannounced random audits at the station.
  • Prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports.
  • Perform other duties and related tasks as required and assigned.
  • Communicate regularly to new hires information about onboarding requirements; including next steps in the hiring process.
  • Track in detail new hire progress to ensure all pre-employment activities have been completed in a timely manner to ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Coordinate frequently with Recruiting, Operations and Training to ensure pipeline of new hires is fully ready for hire on day one.
  • Initiate virtual offers of employment for the Express Line of Business.
  • Be a resource for new hires during their onboarding and be able to direct them to the appropriate departments for questions related to benefits, payroll, etc.
