About The Position

zerohash is seeking a Manager, Third Party Onboarding and Compliance who will help shape and lead the compliance program’s customer onboarding, risk management and consumer protection team to drive the execution of key priorities. This role will specifically be responsible for leading KYB/KYC Client Onboarding, KYC Refresh, High Risk Customer and Client Reviews and Enhanced Due Diligence, and Zero Hash primary customer audits as well as compliance by Zero Hash and its partners with federal and state consumer protection and disclosure requirements. This is a supervisory position that will manage a team of full-time staff (of various seniority and specialization) and, as necessary, external contractors. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a great communicator, and has the ability to influence through respect and trust. You will report directly to the Chief AML Officer/Deputy Chief Compliance Officer (or other senior Compliance manager). #LI-Remote While this role is fully remote, there is a preference for candidates to be currently located in the AMER and EU/UK timezones.

Requirements

  • Proven people management experience, preferably within the financial services industry or fintech area, including in a remote first environment
  • College degree
  • 7-10+ years of AML and relevant professional services experience
  • Proven experience with the areas of responsibility
  • Experience working with third-party case management and project management tools
  • Hardworking and driven
  • Strong time management skills and ability to execute tasks within tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively with colleagues across regions and business units
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, including executives, business development teams, and technical experts, to facilitate collaboration and drive joint initiatives.
  • Lead collaboration across cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, legal, and finance to ensure the client has a smooth onboarding experience and that the client strategy aligns with the broader business goals.
  • Serve as first point of contact for billing, account receivable, third party audit requests etc
  • Organize and lead monthly calls and quarterly business reviews with supported clients and also contribute to monthly revenue tracking and reporting to leadership as well as clients.
  • Create account-based strategies with a focus on enablement, account mapping, upselling and co-marketing.
  • Work with Engineering, Product, Sales, Finance and Marketing teams to channel the client voice internally, impact product roadmaps, and ensure our solutions meet the needs of the market.
  • Quarterback additional service usage by identifying upsell and cross sell opportunities and adoption of new products.
  • Negotiate client agreements, contracts, and other legal documents, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Design and implement data driven reporting to track client satisfaction
  • Own retention and contract renewals
  • Excel at operating in a dynamic and quickly changing environment
  • Act as internal buffer between client and leadership team
  • Maintain operational excellence, identifying and implementing improvements to client-related processes (CRM system, internal systems) on an ongoing basis.
