How You’ll Add Value: You will be responsible for understanding and performing all functions related to an assigned project. You must ensure that all SOPs are properly followed, maintain communications, receive and execute tasks as assigned and within timeline while ensuring customer needs are met.

Requirements

  • Associates degree and/or Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences/Sciences field (Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, etc.) is highly preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience with handing (receipt, storage, and destruction) preclinical and clinical samples

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with on-site leadership to anticipate customer needs
  • Perform project task(s) to best of ability as assigned by on-site leadership
  • Perform or facilitate the creation of client specific SOPs, Project Definitions and other customer documents
  • Sample receipt and QC, coordinating and triaging shipments to appropriate departments/vendors, sample shipment receipt verification by either paper form or database (chain of custody is critical to ensure sample integrity)
  • Freezer defrosting and cleaning, destruction of samples as permitted, and return of samples back into inventory
  • Ability and willingness to work with LN2 (after appropriate training is received)
