About The Position

Under limited supervision, the On-Site Support Specialist performs support functions for a customer site. This position works more than 50% of the time at the customer location. Provides excellent customer service that will enhance the relationship and lead to ongoing sales. May act as a lead/mentor to other employees. Performs one or more of the following support functions primarily at a customer location that include, but are not limited to, ART, VMI, driving, delivery, crib attendant, storeroom work and/or customer service. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
  • Reliability, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Industry experience required; product knowledge from previous warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Moderate computer skills, including information processing and email communication.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification to operate a forklift.
