As On-Site Support Specialist you will support daily biobank operations at our clients location in Vitry. Key tasks include sample receipt, quality control, documentation (chain of custody), and distribution of samples to relevant departments. The role also involves creating client-specific SOPs and project documents, as well as maintaining storage units, performing sample returns, and authorized disposals. Working location: 94400 Vitry-sur-Seine, France Duration of project: 12 months

Requirements

  • Associates degree in related field (Biology, Biotechnology, Laboratory Technician, …)
  • Experience with handing (receipt, storage, and destruction) preclinical and clinical samples
  • Ability and willingness to work with LN2 (after appropriate training is received).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with on-site leadership to anticipate customer needs.
  • Perform project task(s) to best of ability as assigned by on-site leadership.
  • Perform or facilitate the creation of client specific SOPs, Project Definitions and other customer documents.
  • Sample receipt and QC, coordinating and triaging shipments to appropriate departments/vendors, sample shipment receipt verification by either paper form or database (chain of custody is critical to ensure sample integrity).
  • Freezer defrosting and cleaning, destruction of samples as permitted, and return of samples back into inventory.
  • You will be responsible for understanding and performing all functions related to an assigned project. You must ensure that all SOPs are properly followed, maintain communications, receive and execute tasks as assigned and within timeline while ensuring customer needs are met.
