About The Position
The position involves providing clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment in the operating room (O.R.). The individual will anticipate the device needs of the O.R. staff and surgeon during surgical procedures, troubleshoot and maintain Stryker equipment and other related devices, and work collaboratively with surgeons, O.R. personnel, and other related staff. The role requires maintaining a knowledge base of equipment and disposable products through Stryker education training programs, providing information on new and current products to physicians and O.R. personnel, and accurately recording and reporting all surgical procedure information. Adherence to Stryker and medical facility policies, standards, and procedures is essential. The position also requires the ability to analyze and resolve both routine and non-routine product issues using independent judgment and may involve providing on-call services as required by the medical facility.
