About The Position
The Dunham Company is seeking an energetic and dedicated On-site Property Manager to oversee an apartment complex in Sioux Falls, SD. This full-time position requires the manager to live on-site, ensuring that the property is maintained to high standards and that tenant relations are prioritized. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining customer service, occupancy levels, and the overall appeal of the property. A clean and comfortable living environment is paramount, and the manager will play a crucial role in achieving this by being detail-oriented and proactive in their approach. The On-site Property Manager will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants and current residents, handling inquiries and managing the leasing process from start to finish. This includes scheduling and conducting property showings, addressing maintenance issues, and performing light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and cleaning common areas. The manager will also be responsible for keeping the property clean and presentable, which involves regular inspections of the exterior and common areas, as well as maintaining a log of all maintenance performed. In addition to these responsibilities, the On-site Property Manager will work closely with the Maintenance Technician to plan daily tasks and ensure that all maintenance requests are addressed promptly. The role also includes collecting rent, renewing leases, and reporting any necessary building improvements to the Property Management Company. A thorough understanding of the management company's policies is essential for success in this position.
