About The Position

The Onsite Manager (C&D) is a high-energy, customer-focused position that acts as the primary liaison between the customer's facility leadership and Leadpoint support personnel. This role is responsible for implementing and managing workforce programs at a Construction & Demolition (C&D) recycling facility.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or experience in related field
  • Experience within a production environment as a manager or with comparable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ongoing communication with key customer representatives, including facility management and operations leadership.
  • Build and sustain professional working relationships with multiple stakeholders within the C&D facility
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workforce-related matters
  • Provide regular updates on staffing levels, performance metrics, safety results, and operational improvement
  • Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner
  • Interview, select, and onboard candidates for production and sorting positions within the C&D facility
  • Recommend promotions, corrective actions, and terminations in alignment with company policy
  • Ensure completion and retention of all required documentation, certifications, and safety training records
  • Maintain proper staffing levels to meet production and operational demands
  • Foster positive employee relations and maintain a professional work environment
  • Oversee new hire screening process for production positions
  • Track absenteeism, attendance, and timekeeping for assigned workforce
  • Provide employee coaching, counseling and performance development for all assigned associates and team leads
  • Collate and review employee timesheets for payroll processing
  • Manage and monitor timekeeping systems for accurate daily and weekly payroll reporting to corporate office
  • Ensure personnel files and HR records are maintained in compliance with legal and company requirements
  • Oversee daily tracking of production metrics, including sorting rates, contamination levels, recovery rates, and throughput
  • Monitor labor productivity and efficiency metrics
  • Assist in the implementation of departmental KPIs and visual performance boards
  • Provide regular performance and operational reports to the Regional Operations Director and customer leadership
  • Identify trends and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Manage quality, productivity, cost control, safety, and employee morale to achieve positive results across all operational areas
  • Lead workforce planning through structure 30-60-90 day operational planning cycles
  • Coordinate and conduct training on safety procedures, equipment operation awareness, and proper material sorting practices
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the C&D recycling operation.
  • Enforce all safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety regulations
  • Conduct routine safety audits, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
  • Perform accident and incident investigations and complete required documentation
  • Maintain and monitor PPE inventory levels to ensure proper availability
  • Manage safety performance goals for all teams and production lines to achieve department safety objectives
