On-Site Managers (OSM) are Torden's first-line leaders providing leadership and guidance to assigned Torden linguists, as well as providing critical cooperation with Government mission managers. OSMs have diverse and vital responsibilities. OSMs are required to maintain open, clear communications with assigned linguists, Torden management staff, and with Government personnel. As front-line managers, OSMs are required to maintain daily interface with assigned linguist personnel, observe day-to-day operations, and, when necessary, provide instruction/mentorship to linguists when improvements must be made. Effective OSM mentorship is critical. OSMs are held responsible for the morale of their teams through their attitude, program knowledge, discipline, and professional bearing. OSMs assist Torden's Task Order Program Manager (TOPM) in providing operational, administrative, and management oversight to Torden's linguist support operations. OSMs serve as Torden's front-line leaders. OSMs establish relationships with supported Government personnel; serve as the supported organization's primary POC on resolving assigned linguist issues, provide for and ensure accountability and accurate timekeeping, as well as ensure linguist productivity as related to mission requirements. OSMs are required to maintain professional bearing, discipline, and mission-focus.
