Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and/or minimum of 3 years of legal contract language interpretation and administration experience
  • Experience with JD Edwards required
  • Extremely detailed oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong computer aptitude including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables, Vlookups, and other basic excel functions) and reporting related database concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks
  • Must be able to work extended hours at month end and adhere to deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Interpreting legal contracts and administering invoices in accordance with terms and managing price changes with escalations as required.
  • Lead a cross-functional contract review session aimed at aligning departmental interpretations and establishing a consistent, organization-wide understanding of contractual terms.
  • Independently create manual overrides & procedure modifications based upon interpretation of non-standard contract terms.
  • Generate and maintain terms & conditions records of legal contracts used in financial planning, analysis and reporting.
  • Making decisions related to disputes.
  • Recommending procedure changes and training others as needed.
  • Communicate with Sales and Customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Calculating, preparing and issuing invoices with backup extracted from legal contracts.
  • Planning and establishing work priorities and processes, ensuring deadlines are met and procedures are being followed.
  • Assisting internal customers in all related areas with contract queries and administration.
  • Assembling data and preparing periodic and special reports.
  • Be willing to assume additional work within the scope of departmental responsibilities.
  • Be available to work extended hours as needed especially at month end.
  • Must meet all deadlines.
