Boston Dynamics is known for building advanced mobile robots, like Spot, Stretch, and Atlas. Our robots operate in the most challenging and remote environments imaginable, from industrial sites to disaster zones. This presents a unique challenge: to build a sophisticated data infrastructure that enables robots to operate reliably despite limited or unreliable cloud connectivity. The Central Software (CSW) team is looking for a creative and passionate On-Robot Data Infrastructure Software Engineer to build and extend the core technologies that make this possible. In this role, you will create and extend foundational on-robot logging and telemetry infrastructure that all robot teams depend on. This will expand the reach and capabilities of our robots, enabling them to operate autonomously and effectively wherever they are needed.
