About The Position

An On-Premise Sales Manager is responsible for leading the field execution of sales initiatives and internal/retailer programming, the training and development of the On-Premise Team and their direct reports and supplier relationships.

Requirements

  • A qualified Sales Manager must have 7+ years of sales experience with at least 2 years of that in a sales leadership role.
  • Must have a proven record of sales success and customer satisfaction.
  • Must possess excellent leadership skills that set the vision for all staff and help those working below you be successful and realize the vision.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of all brands and packages that Favorite Brands Distributors sells.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the sale of all products in accordance with company guidelines and T.A.B.C. (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission)
  • Sets and leads a team toward achievable but challenging sales goals for all sales and delivery staff that expands sales and market share.
  • Provides development and coaching to help all staff identify needs, keep customer priorities in mind, implement solutions that sell more product, and position themselves as beverage industry experts for their accounts.
  • Oversees and develops regional sales managers to ensure they are performing their jobs as expected.
  • Manages and coordinates necessary training for all staff members, such as draught line cleaners, drivers, and others.
  • Coaches and develops sales and delivery teams to follow industry best practices.
  • Maintains expert knowledge of products, market conditions, competitive activity and industry trends.
  • Develops and maintains an effective rapport with all customers, staff and coworkers.
  • Communicates ideas and feedback clearly and effectively to increase sales and enhance employee performance.
  • Manages and coordinates L&F Distributors’ presence at events.
  • Uses office productivity software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) to communicate information, track, and process market data to make decisions that advance the company’s sales goals.
  • Completes and submits sales and incentive reports as required, and ensures employees under their supervision do the same.
  • Generates other reports accurately and on time
