About The Position
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an On-Farm Electrician Specialist for a large, diversified farm located in central Washington. This position is crucial for maintaining the electrical systems that support various agricultural operations, including pivot panels, corner systems, grain bins, and potato storage facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, particularly in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and components related to agricultural equipment. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and making safe and timely repairs to ensure the functional operation of electrical systems throughout the farm. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals at all levels of electrical expertise, from journeyman to fully qualified electricians, to enhance their skills in a supportive environment. The On-Farm Electrician Specialist will report directly to the Irrigation Manager and will be involved in the planting and harvesting processes of various crops, including potatoes, sweet corn, field peas, cereal grains, dry beans, and onions. Given that much of the farming operation relies on irrigation, the role is vital for ensuring that electrical systems are operational throughout the irrigation season and beyond, as crops are stored on-site before being transported to market.
