As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you can work as much or as little as you like, with a schedule that varies depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule. You will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via our myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary, and you are required to respond to our attempts to contact you to confirm your interest in working shifts at Target. If you do not respond or do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment may be terminated. You will also be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are properly prepared for your new role.

  • Create a welcoming experience for guests while completing daily tasks.
  • Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs.
  • Thank guests and express appreciation for their choice to shop at Target.
  • Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store.
  • Assist with workload while minimizing guest disruption.
  • Work in all departments to ensure the sales floor is full and in stock.
  • Assist with truck unload process and stock products to the sales floor.
  • Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans.
  • Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure accurate signing.
  • Complete scans and system audit functions for inventory accuracy.
  • Support execution of major transitions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
  • Accurately execute all pulls and backstock products.
  • Process all inbound deliveries to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Complete all backroom weekly audits.
  • Operate power equipment only if certified.
  • Follow safety policies and report hazards.
  • Enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and team members.
