On Campus Experience Adjunct Faculty
About The Position
The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking a knowledgeable, mission-driven On Campus Experience Adjunct for the Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant (BS-OTA) program at the Main Campus. This role is crucial for shaping future health care leaders and helping students discover their purpose. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding students in assessments and interventions, staying current with field trends, and ensuring compliance with program accreditation requirements. The position also involves upholding the University’s mission and pillars, participating in university programs, and providing a positive example aligned with GCU’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission. GCU, a Christ-centered higher education institution, integrates faith, learning, and work, valuing diversity among its students, faculty, and staff. Employment is contingent upon the satisfactory outcome of pre-employment screening activities, including a background check.
Requirements
- An active, current and unencumbered Arizona OT or OTA license
- A master’s degree in any field
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in occupational therapy related to the subject area of instruction
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- Successfully pass a drug screen
- Proficient in English, Grammar, and writing in APA format.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
Responsibilities
