About The Position

Are you passionate about caregiving and only looking to commit to every third weekend on-call? Apply to join the Good Shepherd Assisted Living/Memory Care team today! In addition to joining an excellent team, on-call HHA's are eligible for a variety of benefits including a $100 stipend for completed on-call weekends and up to an additional $10/HR in pickup bonuses. Looking for more hours? Additional shifts can be picked up on top of on-call weekends. On-call duties include coverage at both the Sauk Rapids and Becker Campuses.

Requirements

At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred
Active on the MN CNA Registry OR documentation of having taken the Nursing Assistant 75-Hour Course required
Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful leisure and recreational activities
Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and exercise
Assist with medication administration under the direction and supervision of the RN
Accurately document medication administration in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR)
Report any changes in resident condition to the RN promptly
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry

Benefits

A $100 on-call stipend will be awarded upon the completion of the on-call weekend (provided all requirements are met)
Shift Differential: Additional $1.00/HR Evening and $1.25/HR Overnight
Eligible for overtime pay and pickup bonuses up to an additional $10/HR as applicable
