About The Position

On-call support is needed in various departments across both campuses. Departments in need include Early Learning Center, Campus Security (St. Louis and Elsah), Christian Science Nursing (Campus House and Cox Cottage), and Telecom. This is a part-time, on-call position.

Requirements

• Student of Christian Science; if not, values aligned
• Supportive of Principia's mission, vision, and values
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Early Learning Center: experience working with infants and toddlers
• Campus Security: experience working security preferred; ability to endure frequent periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs, traversing uneven or slippery terrain, and lifting heavy items without assistance; must have a valid driver's license
• Christian Science Nursing: Journal-listing as a Christian Science nurse; successful completion of a Christian Science nurse's training program; two or more years' experience working in the field
• Telecom: familiarity with both campuses preferred

Responsibilities

• Lovingly cares for and implements age-appropriate curriculum outlined by the managers for children six weeks to through three years of age (Early Learning Center)
• Serves the community, guests, and visiting public by upholding Principia's standards for safety and security (Campus Security)
• Provides a security presence and monitors campus traffic, events, and activities (Campus Security)
• Responds to and assists with security matters and/or emergencies (Campus Security)
• Upholds and maintains the standard of the Christian Science nurse as given in the Church Manual by-law (Article VIII, Section 31) (Christian Science Nursing)
• Capably and compassionately responds to a variety of needs for infants, school-age children, and adults (Christian Science Nursing)
• Trains on Cisco Unified Attendant Console System (Telecom)
• Serves as substitutes for our regular operators and as the initial contact for incoming calls (Telecom)
