About The Position

Coordinate entire server station and communicate with front and back of the house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Promotes good customer relations.

  • CA Food Handlers Certificate
  • Alcohol Awareness Certificate
  • Basic knowledge of math and English

Nice To Haves

  • One year server and public relations experience preferred.
  • POS system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Obtains assigned station from Manager at start of work shift.
  • Greets guests and presents menus, making suggestions and answering questions regarding food, beverages, specials, and service.
  • Responsible for knowledge of menu content, ingredients, options, methods of preparation, and special request availability.
  • Assures prompt service of food and beverage items.
  • Assures guest orders are prepared properly and promptly.
  • Performs side work before, during and at end of shift.
  • Maintains stock of workstation, bussing duties as necessary.
  • Displays ability to keep up with peak period demands.
  • Communicates with wait staff and Manager-On-Duty to maintain service efficiency.
  • Works with Cooks, Bartender and serving staff.
  • Assures immediate clean-up of spills or correction of hazards.
  • Reports all accidents and/or unsafe conditions to Manager-On-Duty and Security Department.
  • Assures compliance with personnel and department policies and procedures.
  • Performs other general duties as directed by the Front of the House Supervisor
