A TRIDENT Security Specialist is often the first point of contact for clients and the public, representing the professionalism and integrity of our brand. Success in this role requires a customer-focused attitude, strong attention to safety, and a commitment to excellence. The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of facilities and personnel across multiple client sites. This position serves as a visible deterrent to crime, enforces client rules, and reports suspicious or unsafe activities. Flex Officers play a vital role in maintaining order and protecting client assets. This position also serves as a training and development opportunity for future leadership roles within TRIDENT , as you will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of client environments.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior security experience preferred
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with people at all levels
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must possess intermediate computer skills
  • Must be dependable, flexible, and able to work varied shifts
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Must meet all state and local licensing requirements prior to employment
  • Must possess a valid Alabama Driver’s License (driving positions only)
  • Must have at least one year of driving experience with a clean record
  • No major driving violations within the past 36 months
  • No more than one accident or minor violation in the past 24 months
  • Must maintain required insurance coverage per company policy
  • Must be available to work multiple shifts per day, up to 7 days per week
  • Schedule will vary based on business needs and may be posted weekly
  • Must be available for on-call coverage and able to respond to communication within 30 minutes

Responsibilities

  • Protect client property and personnel through active patrol and presence
  • Detect, deter, and report unsafe, suspicious, or criminal activities
  • Maintain high visibility to discourage rule infractions and unsafe behavior
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and visitors
  • Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies or crisis situations
  • Complete detailed incident reports and documentation as required
  • Operate site-specific security systems and wireless technology
  • Fill in for open shifts, call-offs, and special projects across multiple sites
  • Maintain communication via phone or computer and respond promptly to scheduling updates
