About The Position

Hotel Cleveland Autograph Collection is seeking a friendly and professional On-Call Restaurant Server to join our team. The Server is responsible for greeting and serving guests in accordance with hotel standards, ensuring each guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.

Requirements

• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist co-workers as needed.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Customer Satisfaction: As a representative of Hotel Cleveland and Crescent Hotels & Resorts, every interaction with guests should reflect professionalism, courtesy, and respect. PM Servers are guest relations ambassadors at all times.
• Work Habits: Maintain hotel standards for appearance, grooming, punctuality, attendance, and work quality. Demonstrate adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Safety & Security: Follow all hotel safety and security protocols, including proper lifting techniques, safe use of chemicals, key control policies, and immediate reporting of safety hazards or concerns.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously, taking and serving orders according to the service manual.
• Complete all assigned set-up and side work before and after service.
• Provide menu knowledge and answer any guest questions.
• Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system accurately (where applicable).
• Inspect food before serving to ensure it meets standards for appearance, temperature, and portion size.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
