About The Position
Delta View Post Acute is seeking a skilled and responsive Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team on an on-call basis. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse who thrives in a flexible environment and is committed to delivering exceptional resident care. As an on-call RN, the individual will provide clinical oversight, support the nursing team, and ensure continuity of care during staffing gaps.
Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Reliable and able to respond to shifts on short notice
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments
- Serve as a clinical resource and leader for LVNs and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Respond to call-offs and staffing needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Assess changes in resident conditions and initiate appropriate interventions
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies
- Complete accurate and timely documentation, including care plans and incident reports
