About The Position

Community LIFE is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support to older adults (55+) living in the community. We are adding an On-Call RN position to our team.

Schedule: On-Call from 3:30pm to 8:30am Monday-Friday, and 24 hours a day on weekends. EVERY OTHER WEEK ONLY. This position will be considered full time and will be paid a full-time salary for working every other week. This position requires the ability to arrive at our participants homes within one hour of receiving a call.

Locations: Bedford, PA and surrounding communities

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited nursing school
• Minimum of one year of experience working with a frail or elderly population, preferably in long term care, home care, or community health
• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Pennsylvania
• Possess a valid PA Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

• Experience in teaching patients and other healthcare workers is preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, advise, teach, and coordinate care for older adult participants
• Evaluate participants for episodic illness after business hours in collaboration with the Provider
• Document care provided and changes in participant's condition in a timely manner
• Provide nursing care and prescribed treatments
• Demonstrate nursing care to participants and caregivers/families
