Requirements

  • Previous experience as a personal care assistant or in a related role is preferred.
  • Available to work on short notice (1 or less day) and fill in as needed is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and supportive attitude.
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality and respect privacy at all times.
  • Physical stamina to perform caregiving tasks and assist clients with mobility.
  • Understanding of basic health and safety protocols in a caregiving environment.
  • Properly use a mechanical lift upon training.
  • A valid State driver's license and clean driving record are required.
  • Able to lift to 25-50 lbs. and use proper lifting techniques.
  • Able to wear PPE as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a personal care assistant or in a related role is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as basic care, bathing, and grooming.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transportation arrangements, including doctor appointments and outings.
  • All other job duties as assigned.
