CAE Instructor Pilots - All for the pursuit of aviation excellence. Description Deliver classroom instruction, ground school, and flight simulator training for the King Air 90 and King Air 200 series. Conduct customer training using flight training devices and simulators following standardized curricula. Evaluate customer performance to ensure alignment with Simcom by CAE training standards, learning objectives, and FAA requirements. Maintain instructional competency, technical accuracy, and all required instructor qualifications. Apply strong instructional techniques, adult learning principles, and scenario‑based training methods. Demonstrate proficiency in King Air systems, procedures, performance, abnormal operations, and emergency procedures. Assess customer training needs and provide tailored coaching to support successful skill acquisition. Learn and utilize CAE training software, learning management systems (LMS), and updated simulation technologies. Maintain a professional, customer‑focused learning environment and ensure accurate documentation of training events. Perform additional duties as needed to support training operations and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Must have current CFI, CFII, and MEI certifications (Flight Instructor, Instrument Instructor, and Multi‑Engine Instructor).
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate.
  • King Air flight experience in the 200 or 90 series (all King Air experience welcome).
  • Availability 6–10 days per month, with flexibility for additional days as needed.
  • Ability to meet all listed physical requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • FAA ATP certificate.
  • Experience delivering SIM training, ground school, or structured aviation instruction.
  • Experience with King Air training operations, advanced simulation systems, or check airman/standardization roles.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, digital recordkeeping, and training compliance systems.
  • 1000 hours of dual instruction given is preferred (employer‑noted priority, but not strictly required).
