About The Position

The Dean of Students Office and the Wellness Center seeks a motivated and values-driven graduate student for a JASPA Summer Internship supporting Student Well-Being and Wellness Initiatives. This shared internship offers a structured 50/50 split between the Dean of Students Office and the Wellness Center, providing a comprehensive view of prevention, intervention, and coordinated care within a Jesuit institution. The intern will engage in program management and wellness promotion while also supporting executive-level, administrative, and CARE-related student support work. This internship offers a unique experience in Student Affairs through both proactive wellness programming, case management, and data analysis. This opportunity is ideal for a graduate student interested in student well-being, coordinated care models, and Student Affairs leadership. 50% Wellness Center; Program Management & Prevention The intern will support the Wellness Center’s efforts to promote student mental health, resilience, and well-being through education, outreach, and peer-led programming. 50% Dean of Students Office (DSO); Student Well-being, Case Management, and Data Analysis The intern will support the Dean of Students Office’s student well-being and CARE (Compassionate and Responsive Educators) processes, gaining experience in administrative systems, assessment, and professional student support work.

Responsibilities

  • Support Wellness Center peer leadership training planning, including curriculum development and logistics
  • Assist with the creation of public health and health education materials (print and digital)
  • Support mental health outreach initiatives, including planning, implementation, and assessment
  • Assist Associate Vice Provost with the development of mental health training curriculum for faculty, staff, and campus partners
  • Collaborate on campus-wide wellness initiatives and cross-departmental programming
  • Respond to low-level CARE referrals, under supervision, and support cases through resolution.
  • Assisting with student outreach, action planning, accountability, and follow-up.
  • Process and interpret CARE data from the 2025–2026 academic year
  • Assist in the development of the CARE Annual Report
  • Conduct a comparative assessment of institutions utilizing centralized resource hub models
  • Support the Ivancovich Fund (Student Engagement Support Fund) audit and documentation
