Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Gastroenterology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/per diem Clinical Assistant Professor (HS) / On-Call Attending Gastroenterologist. The successful candidate will: Provide clinical care of patients in University Hospital of Brooklyn within the Gastroenterology Division. Provide supervision of Fellows on consult service. Provide evening and weekend on-call coverage at University Hospital of Brooklyn. Perform GI endoscopic procedures.
Requirements
- New York State Medical Licensure.
- Medical Doctor Degree or equivalent from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Board Certified or eligible in Internal Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care of patients in University Hospital of Brooklyn within the Gastroenterology Division.
- Provide supervision of Fellows on consult service.
- Provide evening and weekend on-call coverage at University Hospital of Brooklyn.
- Perform GI endoscopic procedures.
