About The Position

This role provides coverage as needed, with the opportunity for full-time hours temporarily while another team member is out on FMLA leave. Drivers - Adult Day Center / Shuttle Driver Special Needs. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Minimum three (3) years with a valid driver's license as well as state/vehicle-specific driver credentials.
• Ability to lift (up to 50 lbs) and maneuver assistive devices or wheelchairs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Pass a required physical exam including a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
• Receive successful results of a background check and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Receive clear pre-employment drug test results.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with seniors and/or adults with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring members are transported safely whenever they are in your care.
• Assisting members with on- and off-boarding and with any special needs during transport.
• Ensuring the company vehicle is 'member-ready' at all times: sparkling clean and free from obstacles as well as in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
