Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university and a Master’s degree in Theology, Divinity, Religion, Counseling, or related field required.
Minimum of two (2) years pastoral experience required for On Call.
Minimum of four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education required.
Eccelsiastical endorsement from the appropriate denomination required.

Nice To Haves

Ordination preferred.
Previous hospital experience preferred.
Certification or certification eligible by pastoral care organization preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides spiritual and pastoral support to patients, family members, visitors, and employees and provides supportive services to the community.
Provides spiritual care and counseling to patients, families and visitors, hospital staff and community.
Provides appropriate assistance to patients, family members.
Conducts worship services.
