Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment preferred, especially in banquet or catering services
- Culinary experience or restaurant background is advantageous for understanding food presentation and service standards
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and guest relations
- Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and proper serving techniques
- Experience in bussing tables, food preparation, or supporting catering events is a plus
- Hotel or event venue experience can enhance your ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting
- Coffee service experience is beneficial for supporting beverage stations during events
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their event experience
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, adhering to food safety and handling standards
- Assist with banquet setup, including arranging tables, linens, and service ware to meet event specifications
- Clear tables promptly and bus dishes to maintain a clean dining environment
- Support catering operations by helping with food presentation and replenishment as needed
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or requests, ensuring excellent guest relations
- Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures during service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event flow and high-quality service delivery
