About the role Four Seasons Hotel Chicago is looking for a talented On-Call Banquet House Attendant ! The Banquet House Attendant is an essential member of the Banquet team which is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.

Requirements

Successful candidates will be a willing team player, comfortable with electronic systems and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote teamwork.
We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and problem solving skills.
The ability to multitask and prioritize is also essential for this position.
Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Knowledge and ability to operate various electronic systems .
Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality
On Call Status
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms with equipment for functions according to contracts received from the Catering department.
Clean function rooms including, but not exclusive to, vacuuming, dusting, shampooing of carpets, cleaning mirrors, marble, sand urns, etc.
Provide any additional banquet equipment: i.e., tables, chairs, grease boards, flipcharts, etc. for function rooms or for set-ups in guest rooms.
Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, boxes, etc. from the receiving dock and store them safely and properly ensuring to log them where appropriate.
Ensure function rooms are clean and available for showing to guests even when not in use.
Maintain a cooperative, professional working style with supervisors and fellow workers.
Perform all job-related tasks with utmost concern for equipment and safety for oneself and fellow workers.
Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of all storage rooms.
