Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Otolaryngology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/per diem On-Calling Attending Otolaryngologist, Clinical Assistant Professor (HS). The successful candidate will: Provide call coverage weekdays and weekends. Coordinate Residence and Medical students in the field Otolaryngology and sub-specialties. Serve on institutional councils and committees and other assignments as directed by Department Chair. Participate as a member of the Department Executive Committee. Attend required departmental conferences. Conduct research that leads to publication and presentation. Assist with department Q&A programs. Develop hospital-base practice. Participate with other department physicians in night call at all affiliated Hospitals.

Requirements

• New York State Medical Doctor Licensure.
• Medical Doctor Degree and graduate of an ACGME-accredited Residency Program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Otolaryngologist.
