We're seeking a reliable, skilled professional to join our team as an On-Call Maintenance Technician for a beautiful property in Santa Cruz, CA. This role is perfect for someone looking to supplement their income or maintain flexibility in their schedule while supporting a well-maintained community. As an On-Call Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for handling after-hours emergency maintenance calls. This includes responding to issues such as plumbing leaks, electrical problems, lockouts, and other urgent maintenance concerns that occur outside of regular business hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in multifamily housing or property management
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation and ability to be on-call when scheduled
- Tools required to complete most maintenance repairs
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
- Diagnose and perform minor repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general property maintenance
- Ensure resident satisfaction and maintain a professional, courteous demeanor at all times
- Communicate effectively with property management and document all service requests completed
