About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill an OMS/ADMS Functional Consultant – Energy & Utilities position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Duties: Act as the subject-matter expert for OMS and ADMS within the AspenTech OSI platform. Configure, test, and enhance OMS functions, including crew management, customer call integration, outage cause analysis, Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR), and outage lifecycle management. Collaborate with operators, dispatchers, and field crews to align workflows with utility outage procedures and regulatory requirements. Support integration of OMS with CIS, AMI, GIS, SCADA, and other enterprise systems for accurate outage analysis and customer impact assessment. Validate network model readiness to ensure accurate outage determination and restoration modeling. Conduct system testing, scenario validation, and troubleshooting across development, test, and production environments. Provide operator training, workflow guidance, and go-live support. Apply expertise in ICCP/DMAMulti-speak for data exchange between OMS/ADMS and transmission or neighboring systems. Skills: OMS consulting (5+ years) with deep understanding of utility operations, outage management, and field restoration practices. ADMS/OMS expertise: Outage detection, prediction, restoration, and reporting workflows in AspenTech OSI. OMS configuration: Crew management, customer calls, ETR, and outage lifecycle. Workflow alignment with operators and field crews. System integration: CIS, AMI, GIS, SCADA. ICCP/DMAMulti-speak communications knowledge. Network model validation for outage determination. System testing and troubleshooting of OMS features. Training and go-live support for operators. Experience: Minimum 5 years in utility operations, outage management, or distribution control center environments. Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and integrating OMS/ADMS solutions. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Energy Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Requirements
