About The Position
As the Omni Associate at JCPenney, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the profitable sales growth of the company by executing various Enterprise Fulfillment and jcp.com activities and strategies. This position encompasses a range of responsibilities including Customer Service & Sales, Enterprise Fulfillment, jcp.com operations, and general operations. You will be expected to deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in finding products, actively listening to their issues, and resolving problems in a calm and agreeable manner. Your ability to promote company products and services while effectively partnering with team members will be essential to your success in this role. In the Enterprise Fulfillment aspect of your job, you will monitor the Enterprise Fulfillment systems application, pick merchandise orders, and acknowledge completion in the system. Accuracy in packing orders according to packaging requirements and timelines is critical, as is the timely completion of all Ship from Store and Buy Online Pickup in Store activities. You will also be responsible for researching jcp.com order shortages and overages, completing shipment check-ins, and assisting with the overall organization and maintenance of the jcp.com stock area. General operations will require you to partner with Merchandise Associates/Assistants to replenish store inventory and participate in the annual inventory process. You will be expected to consistently meet established performance standards, including shrink and safety initiatives, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance. To achieve success in this role, you will need to demonstrate problem-solving skills, accountability, and a proactive approach to improving the customer experience. Your ability to adapt quickly to changing situations with energy and a positive attitude will be key to your performance.
