About The Position

Oliver Wyman's Private Equity team in North America are looking to hire consultants to support its rapid growth. The team works with private equity investors throughout the deal transaction lifecycle: from opportunity identification through due diligence and post-transaction value realization. Requirements

• Professional working experience with experience or exposure to commercial due diligence in a management consulting firm.
• Experience working across or within industries within Private Equity.
• Knowledge and in-depth experience with customer research techniques (interviews, surveys, focus groups, etc.).
• Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
• Fluent in English.
• An undergraduate or advanced degree from a strong academic program.
• Ability to take initiative and seek out opportunities to learn new skills.
• Creativity in problem-solving and generating novel ideas.
• Aptitude for analytical work and handling complex challenges.
• Willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with a talented team.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry- and discipline-specific knowledge and expertise to amplify impact for clients.
• Support private equity clients across various industries including FinTech, Aerospace & Defense, and Education.
• Engage in commercial due diligence and strategic problem solving.
• Conduct customer research techniques such as interviews, surveys, and focus groups.
