About The Position

The Business Impact Manager (BIM) serves a pivotal, strategic role in driving the operations and influencing the direction of Oliver Wyman's Practice and sub-practices. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing key strategies that enhance overall practice performance and market positioning. BIM is central in shaping and implementing the practice's vision, ensuring that operational insights and strategic goals align seamlessly. The role entails significant responsibility in managing high-impact projects that span various functions such as organizing team meetings, developing and maintaining comprehensive management information systems (MIS), monitoring content development and other investments, supporting go-to-market offerings, and interacting with commercial platforms. Integral to these duties is the BIM's collaboration with different support functions like finance, business development/project lifecycle, marketing, legal, talent management, and events, ensuring coordinated support across the practice. The BIM is also instrumental in the annual strategy and budget-setting process, ensuring execution and ongoing progress towards practice goals. The Business Impact Manager supports and drives the strategic direction of their responsible areas, utilizing methodologies such as story-lining, presentation development, and detailed modeling to effectively communicate the strategy. Reporting to both the Practice Leaders and the Director of Business Impact, the BIM plays an essential role in achieving the practice's strategic objectives and operational excellence.
