About The Position

As the Rides Lead at Old Tucson Entertainment, you will support the Attractions Supervisor by overseeing daily ride operations and ensuring safety, all while creating a fun, engaging environment for guests. In this essential role, you’ll focus on delivering exceptional service and may occasionally dress in character to excite and invite visitors onto the rides.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in related field.
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task and be a self-starter.
• Attention to detail paired with strong work ethic required.
• Good communication skills.
• Be tactful and diplomatic.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Knowledge of general safety procedures.
• Knowledge of the rides and local area.
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency response courses are recommended.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Direct ride operations.
• Ensure all safety standards are met.
• Notify Attractions Supervisor of necessary maintenance and/or repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe space in and around rides.
• Regularly inspect rides and oversee ride operators to ensure proper and safe operations.
• Provide instruction and guidance to ride attendants.
• Resolve conflicts in an efficient manner.
• Perform duties as needed in instances of staff shortage.
• Other duties as assigned.
