About The Position

As an Oktoberfest Festival Server 21+, under the direction of The Special Events Management Team, you will provide a positive experience to Snowbird guests and co-workers during Oktoberfest. You will serve all guests, exceeding their expectations following food & beverage and sanitation standards, cashiering, serving food, beer pouring, checking ID's, stocking glasses, bussing tables, taking out trash and other duties as needed. In addition, you will set up and tear down the event as directed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months job related experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
• Food handlers Permit and Alcohol certification - Required by training date (August 2nd or 3rd).
• Ability to follow directions, must be able to comfortably communicate in English.
• Ability to work in either a team or individually without constant supervision.
• Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.

Responsibilities

• Serve all food & beverage guests, exceeding their expectations followed by food and beverage and sanitation standards.
• Cashier, serve food, pour beer, check IDs, stock glasses, bus tables, take out trash and other duties as needed.
• Complete any assigned jobs and work at any assigned station to ensure events are successful.
• Set up and tear down the event as directed.
• Complete assigned side work.
• Report to work on time and in proper uniform.
