About The Position

Individual will assist with the daily operation of the pool and surrounding area. Ensure the guests have a safe and fun environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Must be able to operate cash registers
Neat appearance
Enjoy interacting with the public
Must be available weekends, holidays, opening/closing shifts
Less than high school education
One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

Follows opening & closing procedures
Ensures that daily operation procedures are followed
Verify shelters and restrooms are open and clean daily
Maintain a safe environment at the pool area
Disinfect dressing rooms and rest room areas
Clean mirrors, sinks, floors as needed
Use bleach on pool deck as needed and hose deck
Put down pool benches.
Assist lifeguards with sweeping pool prior to opening
Sweep and clean shelters as needed
Maintain cleanliness and litter around pool and decks
Maintain cleanliness to the pool entrance
Check for any supplies that might be needed and report to supervisor
Wait on all customers in a friendly and timely manner
Empty litter containers at day’s end
Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees
Pool Attendants (14/15 y/o) Must be able to operate cash registers, neat appearance, enjoy interacting with the public Must be available weekends, holidays, opening/closing shifts
