About The Position

The role of an Offsite Warehouse Driver can provide you with the knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store. You will gain experience in retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency and improvement. As an Offsite Warehouse Driver, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include responsibilities such as the transportation, preparation, loading and unloading of product to and from offsite in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all relevant DOT regulations, and maintaining product availability on the sales floor.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must possess Class 4 Driver’s License (Hawaii only).
  • Must possess a medical examiner’s certificate.
  • Must pass required road test (if applicable for your state) conducted by the store.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the transportation, preparation, loading and unloading of product to and from offsite in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Complete all required paperwork from vehicle to the offsite such as Bill of Lading and the driver vehicle inspection report.
  • Ensure the vehicle used for transportation to and from the offsite is maintained to ensure safe operation and follows designated routes established by store director for maximum efficiency.
  • Pull product, organize and store reserve product correctly to ensure backroom accuracy is maintained.
  • Safely and efficiently operate vehicle(s) following established routes, while following established routines and policies.
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties.
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
