About The Position

The position involves performing crane field service alongside the Lead Mechanic and acting as the Gulf Crane Services Representative for the Crane Product line. The role requires a hands-on approach to inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of offshore marine cranes, ensuring that all tasks are completed in compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Must have mechanical, hydraulic and diesel experience.
• Must know proper crane rigging procedures.
• Good Driving record.
• Able to perform tasks independently.
• Must have thorough knowledge of API spec 2 C, API RP 2 D and API 9 A specifications and practices.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must have general knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel applications.

Responsibilities

• Help Inspect, troubleshoot and repair Ball Ring and King Post Mounted Offshore Marine Cranes.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair cranes-Hydraulic Open Loop Systems.
• Ability to completely overhaul winches, valves and hydraulic components.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance required on diesel engines.
• Carry out preventative maintenance program for offshore cranes.
• Observe competitive activities.
• Contribute to Gulf Crane Services image and reputation.
• Manage and maintain assigned tools and equipment.
• Complete all paperwork thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
• Know and understand Gulf Crane Services Quality Policy and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Perform all other duties as required by Supervisor within the physical constraints of the job alongside Lead Mechanic.
