About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Bindery Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a background in bindery operations and be proficient in operating machinery to produce high-quality print products. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

2 years of experience in bindery operations or a related field preferred
Proficiency in operating, stack cutters, collaters, creasers and other bindery manufacturing equipment.
This position requires the ability to work overtime as needed.
Physical ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for 8 hours
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Operate a variety of bindery machines, including folders, cutters, and presses to produce finished products.
Load and unload materials, such as paper, fabric, and plastic, onto bindery machines.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on bindery equipment.
Read and work orders to ensure accurate production of printed materials.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and high-quality production of print materials.
