Requirements

  • Good overall work record, including a satisfactory attendance record and self-motivation
  • Knowledge of safe work practices
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Math skills
  • Ability to read/write
  • Ability to operate various tools
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Will interchange and train in both builder and operator positions of the Clamp Crew.
  • Responsible for clamp operation and building/gluing procedures.
  • Responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing product to prevent bad product leaving the clamp area.
  • Perform routine quality checks using pin depth gage, calipers and tape measure.
  • Responsible for machine set-up and all phases of production throughout the shift.
  • Track and record all daily production activity.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot machinery so as to meet daily production requirements.
  • Maintain high level of quality production by working to tolerance specifications of + ½ millimeters.
  • Conduct routine machine maintenance as needed.
  • Participate and lead in the instruction/training of new employees.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
